NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that pursuant to recommended guidance established by the White House’s “Opening Up of America Again” and Governor Bill Lee’s “Tennessee Pledge-Reopening Tennessee Responsibly,” the Hamblen County Legislative Body will hold its Committee, County Commission, and any and all other meetings during May in-person in the Large Courtroom of the Hamblen County Courthouse located at 511 West 2nd North Street Morristown, TN beginning May 11, 2020. Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, there will be limited capacity of persons allowed in the courtroom (50% of full capacity = 68 persons). Everyone attending will be required to practice strict social distancing and will have their temperatures taken as they enter the Courthouse. Anyone with a temperature of 100.4 will not be allowed to stay in the building. Hamblen County also recommends that everyone attending the meetings wear facial coverings.
