In order for your permit to be issued quickly, the application must be filled out in full, and all required documentation must be submitted. We will contact you if there are additional regulations/other issues that must first be addressed.
Accessory Building Application NO PLUMBING –For the construction/installation of a garage, pole barn, storage building, or other secondary building in which the use will be the storage of personal items that DOES NOT include plumbing.
Accessory Building Application WITH PLUMBING – For the construction/installation of a garage, pole barn, storage building, or other secondary building in which the use will be the storage of personal items that also includes plumbing.
Addition/Remodel Application – For an applicant who wishes to construct an addition to their home such as additional bedrooms, bathroom, or other project that requires the alteration of the structure of the residence.
Agricultural Exemption Application– For an applicant who wishes to establish their property as agriculturally exempt. A copy of your state agriculture exemption card is required.
Carport / Deck / Pool Application—For the construction of a carport, a deck/porch, or a pool. Please note that there are additional regulations for the installation of a pool, including the purchase and installation of a pool alarm, per State of Tennessee Law. Please see our Pool Information Form.
Cell Tower Application—For companies who wish to install a cell tower, upgrade a cell tower, perform a ‘drop and swap’, or other tower/antenna upgrades.
Commercial / Industrial Application—For an applicant wishing to construct a commercial building, such as a warehouse, office, retail establishment, restaurant, or any other publicly accessible building for the purposes of conducting business.
Demolition Application— For the demolition of any structure, primary or secondary. This application is for both residential and commercial/industrial uses.
Mobile Home Application—For the installation of a Single Wide or Double Wide Mobile Home. Please make sure to check both zoning regulations and subdivision regulations prior to the purchase of a mobile home.
Modular Application—For the installation/construction of a modular home.
Moving Structure Application—For an applicant who wishes to move a primary structure (house, modular home, or mobile home) from one property to another.
Plumbing / Mechanical / Gas Application– For the installation of plumbing materials, mechanical (HVAC), or gas, without the construction of a new structure. All residential applications will automatically be assigned a Plumbing and Mechanical/Gas permit.
Residential Application— For the construction of a new home.
Sign Application– For businesses who wish to install a sign for their business, either on premises or off premises.
