The Hamblen County Highway Department is seeking applicants to fill “Highway Supervisor” position responsible for supervising all operations associated with the Highway Department for Hamblen County including road maintenance and repair, paving, and mowing operations. Activities associated with the job include scheduling and oversight of personnel and equipment. Job related duties require extensive experience in highway operations, strong interpersonal skills, organizational and decision-making skills though experience supervising and directing the activities of a large staff and the ability to perform the physically demanding aspects of the job in a variety of weather conditions.

This position requires a Class A Commercial Driver’s License.

All positions are full-time (40 hours) with benefits.
